Ravichandran Ashwin mankad Jos Buttler in an IPL 2019 match. Do you remember that incident? Yes? In that match R Ashwin was playing for Kings XI Punjab and Jos Buttler come out of his crease way before the bowler delivered his ball. What did Ashwin did? He mankad Buttler and this created a controversy. Ashwin was right because there is a rule, if a non striker batsman leaves his crease before the bowler delivers his ball, the bowler can mankad the batsman. But fans, some former cricketers felt it was harsh for Buttler because Ashwin should at least warn Buttler once. Rest is history.

In the last match of Delhi Capitals against Royal Challengers Bangalore, RCB's opener Aaron Finch was given a solitary warning by R Ashwin.
