The 26th match of the 13th season of IPL was named after Rajasthan Royals (RR). Rajasthan, craving for victory, defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 5 wickets. The Royals team achieved the target of winning by losing 5 (163/5) in 19.5 overs. The pair of Rahul Tewatia and Ryan Parag became the match winners.

After the fourth consecutive defeat to Rajasthan, it got its first victory. His performance deteriorated after winning the first two matches. He has 6 points in 7 matches with three wins. On the other hand, this is Sunrisers Hyderabad's fourth defeat. He has 6 points in 7 matches.

The Royals got off to a poor start to chase the target. The team lost the wicket of Ben Stokes (5) in the second over, who was bowled by Khalil Ahmed (two wickets for 37 runs). Warner decided to bat first after winning the toss, after which the team started slow. Warner and Johnny Bairstow could score only 6 runs in the first three overs. Warner hit the first four of the innings on leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal in the fourth over, while Bairstow welcomed Karthik Tyagi with a six over square leg. Bairstow, however, caught Sanju Samson on the boundary in an attempt to repeat the same shot on the next ball. Bairstow scored 16 runs off 19 balls with a six.

The Sunrisers team could only manage 26 runs for one wicket in the power play. Manish Pandey hit Rahul Teotia, while Warner hit Gopal for six. Sunrisers 50 runs were completed in the ninth over. Warner struck out returning Ben Stokes. Despite some big shots, the Royals bowlers did not allow the pair of Warner and Pandey to score runs.

The pressure to increase the run speed showed on Warner and he missed the straight ball in an attempt to play a big shot on Archer and became bold. He hit three fours and two sixes in his 38-ball innings. Pandey completed the century of the team's runs in the 16th over with fours on Tewatia and then hit a six in the same over.

Manish Pandey completed the half-century in 40 balls with fours and then a run on Tyagi. After this, Pandey caught Tevatiya off the ball of Unadkat. He hit two fours and three sixes facing 44 balls. During this, he completed his 3000 runs in IPL. Williamson hit two sixes over Archer in the 19th over, while Priyam Garg (15) hit a six over Unadkat.
