They scored a big target of 196 runs and lost 2 wickets in 18.2 overs (196/2). Ben Stokes scored an outstanding century (107 not out, 60 balls, 14 fours, 3 sixes). His unbroken 152-run partnership with Sanju Samson (unbeaten 54 runs, 31 balls, 4 fours, 3 sixes) proved decisive.

This victory strengthened Rajasthan's play-off hopes. This is Stokes' second IPL century. This is the biggest victory of any team in chasing the target against Mumbai Indians.

With the help of Hardik Pandya's unbeaten 60 from 21 balls, Mumbai Indians scored 195 runs for 5 wickets. Mumbai lost wickets in the middle overs, but later Hardik gave a huge score to the team by playing extremely aggressive innings for the first time this season. He hit 2 fours and 7 sixes in his innings. Saurabh Tiwari, playing with his brilliance, scored 34 runs in 25 balls.
